Tony Brooks
New Plymouth-born Tony creates with different art mediums, graphite, acrylic and oil paint using pallet knife and brush. Portraits were the primary influence on his subject matter however landscapes increasingly represent a unique set of challenges that he really enjoys. His passion is painting with oil paints the techniques of which he has learned and still learning from the many great artists around the world. Tony seeks the inspiration of the subject, be it light, shadow, texture, depth, atmosphere or character.
